    • CLIA role in lake level management (Bob)
      • There was general discussion about a series of emails initiated by a lake resident who was questioning whether the recent modifications to the outlet had resulted in lower lake levels.  Clarification was made that the outlet had not changed in elevation but rather was made larger in diameter to allow faster emptying of excess water during high rainfall or snow melt events.  Outlet elevation and target lake level is set by the DNR and the current target level has been in place since 1970.
      • Given the 2-year summer drought conditions and lower water levels, it was agreed that CLIA representatives should meet with the City of Burnsville to learn more about their views of lake level management.  Tom agreed to contact Darryl Jacobsen to set up the meeting.

    • Other items from previous meetings- nothing noted

  • Motion to adjourn at 8:20 unanimously approved

Minutes respectfully submitted on 7/12/22 – Bob Johnston, Secretary
